Olufemi Olaniyi, Ibadan
The Secretary of the Zenith Labour Party in Oyo State, Bimbo Adepoju, has said the leader of the party and a former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, are holding talks.
It was gathered that Ladoja, who was elected Oyo State Governor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, might have concluded plans to defect to the party.
The party scribe spoke in Ibadan on Friday on the sidelines of the unveiling of Kolawoke Olaniyan as the new chairman of the ZLP in the state.
This followed the defection of the erstwhile chairman of the party, Wole Abisoye, and five other local government chairmen of the party to the ruling PDP on Wednesday.
